About Lotus 9 Studio

I am a licensed massage therapist and graduate of Advanced Massage Therapeutics (Louisville, KY).  I also have a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Louisville.

I have a strong background in Trigger Point therapy, Active Isolated Stretching, functional Biomechanics, applied exercise physiology, and anatomy. Coupled with a fascination with the mechanical function of the body, I am well-versed in alternative/complimentary modalities. My philosophy of integrating mind and body come from a wide array of both western and eastern philosophies.

I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Sarasota, Florida, in November 2008 and May 2009, to work with Aaron Mattes (AIS) in his clinic. I have had almost 100 hours of clinical hands-on experience in Aaron's clinic.  This work is therapeutic for the clients in his clinic, as well as  life-changing and therapeutic for me. I was humbled. I was energized. Aaron is passionate, dedicated and determined to create change in people. I am excited to bring AIS, in its entirety, to the Studio. My specialties include injury/repetitive stress work (i.e. whiplash, tennis elbow, headaches, etc.), Active Isolated Stretching, sports massage, trigger point therapy and overall stress management.

I am passionate about my work. My ultimate goal is making therapeutic massage available to all people. I enjoy the challenge and rewards that I experience every day. It is important to educate my clients to be proactive in his/her own total wellness.

I am so happy to introduce Nicole Hoon, LMT  and Jorden Dundich, LMT to the Lotus 9 Studio. Both therapists are graduates of Advanced Massage Therapeutics. Each therapist is also well-versed in Trigger Point Therapy, deep tissue work, Hot Stone Therapy, sports massage, myofascial work and pregnancy massage. They are highly trained and are a great addition to the Studio!

Lotus 9 Basics

Payment is due time of service via cash or check. Credit cards are accepted via paypal on this website ONLY. 

Lotus 9 Studio maintains a professional and safe environment. Any behavior outside of a professional and acceptable manner will not be tolerated. Our safety and the safety of this environment is non-negotiable. We strive to maintain professionalism and expect our clients to do the same.  

We reserve the right to re-schedule an appointment if the client is sick with a communicable illness, i.e. cold, flu, respiratory illness, etc. Soft tissue work is not recommended during these types of illness(s). We also do not want to be exposed to cold/flu as we see several clients a day.

Hours are by appointment only. I maintain a flexible schedule to suit client's needs, however, same day appointments are not possible unless I have a cancellation. 

Cancellations/No shows

Lotus 9 Studio strives to provide a quality and professional service. No-shows and last minute cancellations impact the Studio greatly. If you must cancel or change your appointment, please notify the Studio by 8pm (the day before) to avoid being charged.

Please understand that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled service times and will be responsible for the full service fee.

Gift Certificate must be presented at time of service.  Gift Certificates are good through expiration date noted on Certificate.  If a no show occurs then the Gift Certificate is forfeited. No exceptions, please.

SERIES

Buy 4 services and get 5th service free.  A Series must be used within 90 days of purchase.

We now offer "annual" packages. This series has a 12 month expiration. Enjoy a year of therapeutic massage!
